Elementary News August 29, 2024 & Elementary Boys Basketball Schedule
Basketball Meet & Greet on Sept. 5th @ 6pm in Medina
Our 6th-12th grade students are doing the Believe Kids fundraiser to help raise money for their class trips. Parents: fundraiser packets and information to register for an online account should have came home yesterday. All order forms and money need to be turned in by Tuesday, September 17.
To order: Go to shopfund.com and enter a student code for the student you'd like to support. If you do not have a student code, you can also search for our school and list the student you'd like to support.
Each student also has a paper catalog and order forms. Let us know and we will send a student your way!

Pingree-Buchanan Schools is getting rid of many desks, tables, chairs, and other items that have been storage. Please contact Amber Krapp (701-412-5167) if you are interested in setting up a time to come look at any of the items or would like more information. Everything needs to be gone by Sunday, September 8 and we will be disposing of things each day until it is all gone. Free will donation.

Look who spent the morning sharing "glitter" germs! 7th and 8th grade Life Skills and World Cultures learned about the importance of hand hygiene before we start cooking and baking in class.

Junior High VB team: Pictures in Medina on Aug. 27th.
There will be practice after pictures.
C/JV/Varsity VB teams: Pictures in Pingree on Thursday, August 29th.
C squad will have practice in Buchanan after pictures and the JV/varsity will practice in Pingree after pictures.
Tuesday August 27th - Volleyball
**C squad will have practice in Buchanan.
The JV/Varsity VB teams will have a scrimmage vs. New Rockford on Tuesday, August 27 in Pingree starting at 4:30. New Rockford is supplying officials for this at no charge and the MPB VB players will line judge. The scrimmage will be a running clock with the following order of play:
20 minutes of Varsity
15 minutes of JV
20 minutes of Varsity

Does your child plan to participate in MPB athletics? All parents of athletes in grades 7-12 are required to view the athletics presentation and complete the consent form at the end of the presentation. This presentation and consent form must be completed before the season's first scheduled contest. If you have not already completed the presentation, it can be viewed here:

Our staff is back!!! They are working hard the next three days learning and preparing for a great school year. We are all looking forward to seeing the students soon!!
