Pingree-Buchanan Senior Spotlight

We had five students represent our middle school at MathCounts regional event at Carrington last Wednesday. They represented our middle level students in the area of math. These are all students who also represent PB in other outside sports and activities. Well rounded students. Ethan Torgeson, Braxton Bitterman, Adam Krapp, Hannah Nagel, and Elliehna Zimney.

🥣🧁 PB High School Foods Class in Action! 🧁🥣 This week in Foods class, students learned all about ingredient substitutions — and today they put their knowledge to the test! The challenge: Create FOUR batches of scones: • One with a butter substitution • One with a brown sugar substitution • One with a baking powder substitution • And one made using the original recipe They mixed, measured, baked, and compared texture, color, rise, and flavor to see how each substitution impacted the final product. 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳 Take a look at the results below… 👇 Can YOU tell which batch is which? 🤔 Hands-on learning + real kitchen science = the perfect recipe for success! 💛🍴
