The 10/16 weekly elementary newsletter can now be viewed on the website and Facebook. Please note that only 4-6 will go to Kensal tomorrow Oct. 17 and to BCN next week Oct. 24. Only 5-6 will go to Carrington on Oct. 30. 3-6 will continue to practice and third graders will be included in the final three home games.


Meet our new student - Jack the therapy dog! Mr. Soulis is bringing him to Pingree-Buchanan for his counseling program and Mr. Kluting's Animal Care class is partnering with Mr. Soulis to train Jack with the Animal Assisted Therapy in Schools training program.




Reminder - There will be an early dismissal this week, Wednesday, October 18th. HS students will dismiss at 1:10pm and the elementary students will dismiss at 1:30pm. There will be no school on Thursday or Friday. Enjoy your long weekend!

The elementary students visited A-Maze-N Clown Pumpkin Patch this afternoon. The students had a blast! Thank you to those who made this all possible!!



Congratulations to the Elementary Girls' Basketball players who won the "Rumble of Thunder" Awards and "Thunder Clap" Awards for the last three basketball games of the season. The team showed lots of improvements throughout the season and had a great season overall!

The Elementary Girls' Basketball Team will be having an end of season party this Wednesday, 10/11, after school until 4:30pm in Buchanan. Athletes should be picked up in Buchanan at 4:30pm.

The Elementary Girls' Basketball wraps up their season this week. Their last game will be on Tuesday (10/10) vs. Kensal in Buchanan starting at 4:30pm. We will be playing 2 games. GO THUNDER! 🏀


Congratulations to the varsity volleyball team for making it to the championship game at the Carrington VB tournament today. The team placed second overall! They lost to New Rockford in the championship game with scores of 25-23 and 25-23. The volleyball team beat Grand Forks, Jamestown JV, Midkota twice, and Carrington to make it to the championship game. Congrats Thunder Volleyball Team!! 🏐🥈


Ms. Dietz's Multi-Media Class took a field trip to Carrington this morning to learn about different forms of media that are used in every day life. We met with Laurie at the Chamber of Commerce and Greg at KDAK Radio. The students learned about the behind the scenes work that goes into making these businesses successful! Thank you Laurie and Greg for allowing us to visit!!
